The Finisar FTL4C1QE1C QSFP+ optical module is based on our 40G-QSFP-10 product, and the Finisar optical module version is designed to operate on dual-fiber single-mode fiber (SMF) cables. It has a minimum guaranteed light budget of 9.7 dB, which is usually enough to reach about 10 km.
However, distance is only an indicative parameter calculated for the purpose of identifying comfort. Finally, we calculate the distance while taking into account the minimum (guaranteed) light budget and the average attenuation of the cable in the industry. Our Finisar FTL4C1QE1C transceivers use a high-quality DFB laser transmitter operating at a 1310 nm nominal wavelength and a 1310 nm PIN photodiode receiver.
The module supports DDM/DOM optical diagnosis and provides diagnostic data of the current running state. The compatible module features dual LC connectors and is designed to operate in a standard temperature network environment of 0°-70°C. The transceiver chipset supports data rates up to 44.8 Gbps,
