The Finisar FTLC9558REPM FTLC9559REPM FTLC9551REPM, is a 100 Gbps four-channel compact pluggable (QSFP28) optical module. It increases port density and saves total system cost. The QSFP28 full-duplex optical module provides four independent transmit and receive channels,
each capable of achieving 25 Gbps operating speeds over 100 meters of OM4 multimode fiber, for a total data rate of 100 Gbps. A ribbon fiber optic cable with MTP/MPO connector can be plugged into the QSFP28 module socket.
The guide pin inside the socket ensures proper alignment. Cables generally cannot be twisted to achieve proper channel-to-channel alignment. The module is powered by a single +3.3V power supply.
The FTLC9558REPM-FL is designed with form factor, optical/electrical connection and digital diagnostic interface to comply with QSFP28 multi-Source protocol (MSA). It is designed to meet the harshest external operating conditions,
including temperature, humidity and EMI interference. The module offers very high functional and feature integration and is accessible via a two-wire serial interface.
Finisar FTLC9558REPM FTLC9559REPM FTLC9551REPM 100G QSFP28 transceiver modules are designed for use in
100 Gigabit Ethernet links over multimode fiber. They are compliant with the QSFP28
MSA1 and IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-SR42 and CAUI-42. Digital diagnostics functions
are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA1 and Finisar
Application Note AN-21413. The transceiver is RoHS-6 compliant per Directive
2011/65/EU4 and Finisar Application Note AN-20385.
