Power Module (PSM) - The ACX7100-32C router has two PSM. Each PSM powers all components in the router. If two PSMS are installed, they will be devices. If a PSM fails,

Cooling system - The ACX7100-32C router has 6 fan modules. If the fan rotor in the fan module fails, a case alarm is raised. The router continued to operate, but the rotor failed as per the GR-63 specification.
If multiple fan rotors fail, or if the fan module is removed, a case alarm is sounded and the system starts to shut down within 240 seconds. If multiple fan modules are removed,
the chassis alarm sounds and the system shuts down immediately. Therefore, if any fan module fails, you must replace the fan module right away
The faulty PSM is replaced with a new PSM and removed within three minutes to maintain power redundancy. The router continues to run with only one PSM running.
Replace the faulty fan module with a new one to prevent the chassis from overheating within one minute after the fan module is removed.
Do not connect two power feeds to the same power input terminal.
