CISCO QDD-2X100-LR4-S is a Cisco 2x100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28-DD (four-channel Small pluggable dual-density) transceiver designed to operate on single-mode fibers. The 2x100G LR4 has a QSFP-DD form factor, supports 8 electrical interface channels, and can operate in 25G NRZ coding mode.
This results in a 200G (8x25G) data rate. Technically, two 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28-DD modules consisting of two 100G transceivers, housed in a single enclosure, provide operators with great flexibility to migrate to QSFP-DD equipment and 400G PAM4 infrastructure.
And facilitates the necessary interconnection with the high-density legacy 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28 interface using NRZ coding. The minimum guaranteed light budget for the module is 6.3 dB, which in most cases is sufficient to reach 2 km through OS10 single-mode fiber.
