The Cisco QSFP-40G-LR4-S QSFP+ module is designed to achieve 40GBASE Ethernet throughput of up to 10km using single mode fiber (SMF) at 1310nm wavelength via duplex LC connectors. The transceiver complies with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 and OTU3 C4S1-2D1 standards.
According to the QSFP+ MSA, the digital diagnostic function can also be used through the I2C interface to allow access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy-to-install,
