ZXR10 T1200 IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack core routers initiated by
ZTE support IPv6 routing protocols, such as RIPng, OSPFv3 IS-ISV6 and BGP4, as well as transition technologies, including NAT-PT, manual tunneling, 6to4 and IPv6 provider edge routers (6PE). In addition, support IPv6 security technologies, such as access control list (ACL) and unicast reverse path forwarding (URPF), as well as IPv6 QoS and broadcast. Its switching capacity is 640 Gb/s. In addition, it has 400 Mb/s forwarding rate and supports 10 Gb/s interface. These characteristics make ZXR10 T1200 fully meet the requirements of building the next generation of Internet.
ZXR10 T1200 Architecture
Core routers should have the forwarding capability to meet the demand brought by the increase of network traffic and the system reliability that meets the standard of operator-level equipment. In addition, the requirements of scalability of switching capacity, support for new technologies, smooth upgrade, quality of service guarantee and reliable software architecture for carrier-level devices should also be met. The design of ZXR10 T1200 embodies the above principles.
Hardware Architecture
ZXR10 T1200 uses fully distributed multiprocessors to process data packets in parallel. It has an integrated vertical and horizontal switching structure and a hardware architecture based on passive high-speed serial backplane. The main components are redundant design. In addition, the smooth upgrade ability and maintainability of the system are fully considered.
