The JH231A (HPE X142 40G QSFP+ MPO SR4 transceiver) is a QSFP (four-channel small pluggable) transceiver that operates over a 4-channel MMF cable.
 It has a minimum guaranteed light budget of 1.9 dB, which is sufficient to reach a distance of about 150 m in most cases. However, distance is only an indicative parameter calculated for the purpose of identifying comfort. 
Finally, we take into account the minimum light budget and average attenuation of optical cables in industry when calculating the distance. The transceiver uses a high-quality VSCEL laser emitter that operates at 850 nm. And 850 nm.
PIN photodiode receiver. It supports DDM/DOM optical diagnostics, providing diagnostic information about the current operating conditions.
